The material is welded in purpose-built, high frequency machines to form flexible tubes.
Specifications
Tube diameters vary from 300mm to 3000mm (12 inches to 120 inches). Standard lengths: 15m, 7.5m (50ft, 25ft). Custom lengths available. A separate suspension tab is radio frequency welded to the tubing. The ventilation duct/tubing is certified by Natural Resources Canada under Certification # 1181. The ducting/tubing also conforms to CAN/CSA-M427-M91.
The Duo-Duct is manufactured in an “oval” shape reducing head room requirement by 25% permitting larger equipment to be used.

Available in round or oval. This ducting is manufactured with spring steel wire welded to the ducting using a special extruded PVC profile with wear protection. The spiral ducting is used with negative and positive pressures.

LATERAL WYE fittings are designed for flow-through with a branch-off at 45 deg left or right branch is to be specified when with with the Snap-Roc coupling system (Pantleg may be used in lieu of left or right with somewhat reduced performance). PANTLEG WYE fittings are designed to split the air flow into two branch outlets at 45 deg to centre of inlet. TEE fittings with inlet and two branches at 90 deg to inlet.
The SHAFT TUBING is standard tubing with 2” load rated webbing that is radio frequency welded to opposite sides of the tubing and with 2” ratchets connected to the webbing of the next section. The Ring or Snap-roc couplings are then connected to extend the tubing.

Standard steel 18 ga. galvanized duct 12” to 42” dia. with 1 1/2” x 3/16” angle iron flanges. Also available in 16 ga. galvanized material with reinforcing rings. All standard fittings: elbows, wyes, adapters & v-lock couplers.
